Abstract :

Iris recognition is considered as most reliable and accurate biometric identification system. Iris recognition algorithms are based on linear search methods. The proposed iris localization approach consists of an automatic segmentation that is based on the various methods and is able to locate the iris and pupil region. The proposed algorithm is compared with the existing Houghman algorithms.
