In MANET, routing algorithm should keep an eye on residual battery energy of each node in the path to prolong the life time of nodes and therefore the network topology. Not only to achieve these goals, but to get more enhancement of TDOR algorithm, this scheme will make multiple energy optimal paths rather than using one single data delivery path and use a turn over method which transfers data traffic to the different disjoint paths at every other time. The existing algorithm uses the Battery level to determine the optimal path. This saves the energy consumption but may lead to higher end 2 end delay due to long path selection. Still the existing algorithm works on splitting the traffic according to the battery power to manage the routing overhead. The paper attempts to modify the existing work by selecting optimal path depending upon the distance as well as the battery power.
