Abstract :
Data collection is a fundamental operation in wireless sensor networks, where sensor nodes measure about a phenomenon and transmit their readings to a common sink. This collection of data from a set of sensors towards a common sink over a tree based routing topology is called Converge cast. A WSN, which consists of group of small sensor nodes communicating with one another, have a variety of applications such as traffic monitoring, emergency medical care, battlefield surveillance, and under-water surveillance. In such applications, it is often necessary to collect the data fastly accumulated by each sensor node for processing. Here, we consider the problem to find a schedule to quickly collect a large amount of data from sensor nodes to sinks. In research work we are combining two protocols, namely Joint Frequency Time Slot Scheduling (JFTSS) and Tree-Based Multi-Channel Protocol (TMCP). JFTSS is a data collection protocol which offers a greedy joint solution for constructing a maximal schedule. We will take different branches and different frequencies are applied to these protocols. By doing this the different channel has task which can be assign by their load. The main focus is on continuous data collection by taking into consideration the temporal correlation in sensor data.
