Abstract :

Nature is a great and immense source of inspiration for solving hard and complex problems in computer science. Nature inspired algorithms are Meta heuristics that mimics the nature for solving optimization problems opening a new era in computation. This paper presents an overview of biologically inspired optimization algorithms on feature subset selection problem. Paper also reviews the control parameters and area where these algorithms have been successfully applied.
