Man has always been in pursuit of energy to meet his ever increasing demand. In recent times the society has woken up to the great perils of pollution and global warming caused by fuel based energy sources. The quest for generating power from renewable sources of power is nothing new and harnessing gravity power has been a quest of many. The reasons are quite obvious too. Gravity power is available all over. It is abundant. Its consistent i.e. 24 X 7. It is scalable. Despite all of this gravity has a bad name. Gravity is the weak force, when compared with chemical and thermal forces, radio activity, or electro-magnetism. But this weakness is primarily due to the uniformity, or steady state, of our interactions with gravity. Due to its weakness, it cannot be efficiently be converted into electrical energy or in other form .In this paper we have designed a methodology wherein gravitational energy is further amplified in terms of its magnitude by using spring mass suspension system, and hence can be successfully be transformed into usable electrical energy. The basic concept of a gravity power generating mechanism is simple. When a body goes down from a higher altitude to a lower one its potential energy is converted into kinetic energy via linear motion. This motion is converted circular motion and is then converted to electricity using a dynamo.
